Ron Wild grew up in Hanna, Wyoming and spent 10 years in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist. He was stationed in Zweibrucken Germany, Mather AFB, CA, and F.E. Warren AFB, WY. He left the Air Force with an Honorable Discharge as a result of a reduction-in-force in 1992 and attended the University of Wyoming and graduating in December 1999 with an Electrical Engineering Degree.
SGL Carbon Fibers acquired his services in January 2000 as an Electrical Engineer. He continued his education with an MBA from Franklin University. Ron is the Operations Support Manager and played a fundamental role in guiding SGL Carbon Fibers to an ISO Quality Certification. He represents the company as Chairman of the Uinta County Economic Development Commission holding that position for the last 5 years. He sits on the Evanston Chamber Board and is a Founding Officer on the Evanston B.O.C.E.S. Foundation Board. His wife, Sonja, of 22 years provides support for his focus on the community and the betterment of Wyoming.
