Dawn Darby moved to Evanston from Kingman, Arizona twelve years ago with her daughter Danielle. Since moving to Evanston she has been very involved with the community through her employment as well as volunteer organizations. Dawn was employed with Adelphia Communications/Time Warner Cable for eight years. During this time she was hired as Office Manager and eventually promoted to General Manager. She has also been very active in several volunteer organizations including the Evanston Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Ambassadors Committee, the Evanston Chamber of Commerce Retail & Service Committee, the Evanston Jaycees, and Angels Among Us.Â
Dawn married her husband Karl in 2006 and recently received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Dawn was hired as Executive Director for the Chamber in August, 2009. “I am very proud to be able to work with and represent our local business community! â€
